Nha Trang to the Moc Bai Border by Private Car

Most visa runs out of Nha Trang happen on the sleeper bus, and for a solo traveler the bus is the smart call. It is the cheapest seat in the convoy, it has blankets for the cold highlands stretch, and the border process is identical no matter which vehicle you ride in. The fixer still queues your passport, the Cambodia counter still wants cash, the re-entry stamp still resets your clock.

But a bus is a bus. It leaves when the sweep is full, it stops for every pickup on the list, and your luggage lives in a shared hold. For some riders that trade-off does not make sense.

The Premium bundle swaps the bus for a private car. The bus run has a fixed morning sweep, pickups between 03:00 and 05:00, Nha Trang first, then Cam Ranh and Tuy Hoa, and the convoy rolls inland when the last rider is aboard. The private car still leaves in that same window, because the border queue is the border queue, but it leaves on your schedule once your door is the only stop.

Every run from Nha Trang to the border takes the same inland road, car or bus. The convoy heads north out of the city, joins QL27C, and climbs over Khanh Le Pass while the coast is still dark. The car costs roughly twice as much and does not get you through the border any faster. If you are traveling as two or more, do the math before you dismiss the car.
